Dr. Anton Feldmann

About

Hi, I'm Dr. Anton Feldmann, a Research Engineer from Germany with a passion for building reliable, scalable software that bridges scientific research and real-world applications.

My work spans artificial intelligence, computer vision, scientific computing, and cloud-native infrastructure. I enjoy designing systems that transform complex ideas into practical tools—from machine learning pipelines and geospatial data processing to Kubernetes platforms and developer automation.

A large part of my work revolves around open source. I believe that transparent, reproducible, and well-engineered software accelerates both research and innovation. Whenever possible, I publish the tools and frameworks I build so others can learn from them, contribute, and extend them.

My current interests include physics-informed machine learning, planetary science, computer vision, scientific data formats, developer tooling, and cloud-native platforms. I enjoy exploring how modern AI techniques can support scientific discovery while maintaining rigorous engineering standards.

Outside of research, I enjoy designing elegant software architectures, writing technical documentation, and continuously improving developer workflows through automation.

This website showcases my projects, publications, experiments, and open-source contributions. Whether you're interested in collaboration, research, or simply exploring new ideas, I hope you'll find something useful here.
